We’re thrilled to welcome you to Athens for Homecoming: A Legacy of Leadership Alumni Weekend, May 1–2, 2026! 

Whether you graduated recently or a decade or more ago, Homecoming 2026 is your chance to return to the special community that is Leadership Georgia.  Join us for an unforgettable celebration in Athens, a city whose Leadership Georgia legacy continues to make an impact in our State and our organization. 

We have a full weekend planned with opportunities to connect and enjoy activities for the whole family, including:

• Friday Night: Dance Through the Decades Party  
• Friday Evening & Saturday Morning: LG Play & STEAM Circus
• Saturday Morning: Mahjong & Pickleball 
• Saturday Evening: Homecoming Celebration & Special Tribute to Rogers Wade

Registration will be open for all events through Friday, April 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

DANCE THROUGH THE DECADES PARTY

Friday, May 1, 2026 | 6:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. | Georgia Theatre

$100 per person

Join the LG Class of 2026 for dinner and an epic night at the legendary Georgia Theatre. Think big, BOLD, and creative when choosing your music-inspired costume. From classic Athens legends like the B-52s and R.E.M., to Southern hip-hop icons like OutKast, the inspiration is endless.

Come one! Come all! Our youngest leaders are invited to join in the spirit of Leadership Georgia once a year with LG Play! This year, we’re hosting: 

A Night at the Gym - Friday, May 1st, 6:00 - 10:00 pm, at the Ramsey Student Center. Dinner & transportation will be provided. $25 per child, ages 5-15. 

STEAM Innovation Under the Big Top - Saturday, May 2nd, 8:30 am - Noon, at the Georgia Center. Breakfast will be provided. $25 per child, ages 5-15. 

MAHJONG & MINGLE

Saturday, May 2, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. | $50 per person

Are you ready to rack, stack, and crack your way into a great morning?  Join us to Mahjong & Mingle, where tiles will shuffle, laughter will build, and LG Alumni friendships will match beautifully.  Lucky sips and light  hors d’oeuvres will be served. 

LG ALUMNI PICKLEBALL

Saturday, May 2, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. | $35 per person

Grab your paddle and join us for a little friendly competition on the court! Our Pickleball Round Robin is the perfect way to mix, mingle, and match up with fellow LG alumni, no partner required. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just here for the laughs, expect fast volleys, great conversations, and plenty of LG camaraderie.
